This year, I unfolded my birthday in the most magical way possible: a girls’ night out just minutes from Walt Disney World®, with The Fold Hotels – Orlando/Lake Buena Vista as our home base.

Madame Leota Séance Candle – push pop style sweet treat shaped like a candle filled with moist, spongy red velvet cake with cookies and cream mousse (yes, please!)
Haunting Jalapeño Ranch Tots – crispy tater tots piled high with black bean chili, cheddar cheese sauce, and jalapeño ranch
Bowl of Bones – crispy pork wings tossed in Cherry Coca-Cola BBQ sauce and topped with jalapenos
Not-So-Poison Apple Doughnuts – apple cider doughnuts rolled in apple cider sugar and drizzled with caramel
After our food coma, we snagged parade-route royalty seats for the Boo-to-You Parade, sang our lungs out with Powerline (hello, childhood throwback), and capped the night with Halloween fireworks viewed from the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

By the end of the night, our pumpkin ears were slipping, our feet were sore, and we were ready to fold it in like queens. That’s when staying just minutes from Disney mattered most.
